Wells Fargo is proud to support the transportation needs of veterans across the United States

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Wells Fargo started the Sponsored Vehicle Donation Program with dealers across the country in 2015, as part of an ongoing commitment to supporting members of the military community in their journey to effectively navigate life transitions, achieve ongoing career and financial success, and positively impact their community.

Wells Fargo Auto in Consumer Lending and Commercial Auto in Commercial Banking have donated more than 135 vehicles to date, along with family and financial mentoring over the years, valued at more than $4.5 million, to deserving veterans and Gold Star families through the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Transportation4Heroes program and other military-and-veteran-related nonprofit organizations across the country.

Wells Fargo’s commitment to supporting our service members extends beyond the auto donation and includes family and financial mentoring services. In fact, these veteran vehicle recipients have used what they’ve learned during family and financial mentoring to pay down their total pre-existing debt by an average of $50,000. Over the last 10 years, the total debt paid off by Wells Fargo Transportation4Heroes (T4H) graduates is $3,226,386.

“Supporting our communities and those who have served our nation is a core part of who we are at Wells Fargo,” said Kevin Reen, head of Wells Fargo Auto. “Through this program, we will continue to empower military members and veterans by helping them with their transportation and financial needs. We are incredibly grateful for our nonprofit and dealer partners who have helped us donate 135 new vehicles and provide family and financial mentorship valued at $4.5 million over the past decade.”

“At Wells Fargo, we pride ourselves in our ability to create deep and lasting relationships with our employees, with our clients, and with our communities,” said Cynthia Caine, head of Commercial Auto. “Our veteran vehicle donation program reflects this commitment, enabling us to come together to honor and recognize those military members who have sacrificed so much for us. The joy and excitement that our key ceremonies bring to veterans and gold-star families through our Veterans Vehicle Donation program, in connection with dealers and non-profit organizations, amplify the importance of investing in our communities.”

“For more than a decade, Wells Fargo has been an incredible partner—always keeping what’s best for our veterans at the forefront. Together, we’ve been able to change countless lives through the gift of reliable transportation and renewed independence. From leadership to frontline employees, it’s clear that serving veterans isn’t just something they say, it’s who they are. Their support has been truly life-changing for our nation’s heroes, and we are deeply grateful for their continued partnership and unwavering commitment,” added Casey Kinser, Executive Vice President, Military Warriors Support Foundation.
