DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Outamation, a pioneer in automation and digital transformation that reimagines workflows to deliver impactful business outcomes, today announced its achievement of the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II accreditation and ISO 27001:2022 certification. These respected accreditations confirm Outamation’s focus on robust data security, privacy, and excellence in service delivery to highly regulated industries where data security is critical.

Key benefits of these certifications include:

  • Enhanced trust and credibility with customers and stakeholders
  • Strict adherence to globally recognized information security best practices
  • Proactive risk management to mitigate potential threats
  • A competitive edge in the market, positioning Outamation as a trustworthy partner

The SOC 2 Type II certification validates that Outamation adheres to the most rigorous standards of security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy for its clients. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) designed the certification to assess a company’s comprehensive information security policies and controls. By earning this certification, Outamation ensures its customers and stakeholders that the company handles their sensitive data with utmost care and integrity.

The ISO 27001:2022 certification further emphasizes that Outamation is a leader in information security management. This certification demonstrates the company’s dedication to proactively managing information security challenges through its Information Security Management System (ISMS), which includes risk management, incident handling, and continuous monitoring efforts.

“These certifications reinforce Outamation’s commitment to delivering the most secure and reliable solutions, including tailored workflow automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development, advanced data analytics, application development, and processing services,” said Outamation Chief Technology Officer Devang Kamdar. “They validate our ability to protect client data, ensure service reliability and scalability, allow for responsible use of AI, directly enhance the quality of client interactions and partnerships, and build trust.”

About SOC 2, Type II:

SOC 2 is a component of the American Institute of CPAs‘ (AICPA’s) Service Organization Control reporting platform. SOC 2 reports assess and attest to an organization’s controls per AICPA’s 5 Trust Service Criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. SOC 2 includes a technical audit and confirmation that comprehensive information security policies and procedures are documented and followed. A SOC 2 Type II certification is considered more valuable than a SOC 2 Type I certification.

About ISO 27001:2022

ISO 27001:2022 is an information security standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards, and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). With 24,375 standards and 167 countries represented, ISO is a hallmark of excellence and innovation for businesses with its certification.
