NASHVILLE, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–HireRight, a leading provider of global background screening services and workforce solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Desmond as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), effective immediately.
In this role, Mr. Desmond will lead the continued advancement of HireRight’s global cybersecurity and information security programs. He brings extensive experience in building risk-based security frameworks and delivering operational excellence across complex, global environments. Prior to joining HireRight, Mr. Desmond served as Chief Security Officer at Asurion, where he played a pivotal role in managing multiple aspects of security and risk for a large global organization. He has also held executive security leadership roles at Vantiv (now WorldPay), Elevate, and Intuit. Mr. Desmond holds an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, a master’s degree from Norwich University, and a CISO Executive Education Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University.
