ISO 9001 is a global standard defining the quality management system (QMS) criteria. It is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product or service. The standard is based on several quality management principles, including meeting customer requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in organizational performance.
