The 21,000 sq.-ft. Indoor Beach-Themed Park Offers an Immersive Environment for Active Play That Includes Inflatables, Party Rooms, and More
NORTH PORT, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#dothebeach–The wait is finally over! The people of North Port and Sarasota County now have a great new option to enjoy safe, active family fun in a unique setting. The North Port Do the Beach Adventure Park is set for its grand opening on Sept. 20.
The new indoor attraction delivers year-round “beach day” energy with a fully themed inflatable park designed for active fun, birthdays, and group events, all in a climate-controlled setting.
“We can’t wait to invite everyone in,” said Mike Whincup, the co-owner of Do the Beach who has provided regular updates on the grand opening on the Do the Beach Facebook page. “We’re so thrilled to open such a great facility for this fantastic community that has so often been under served for entertainment options.”
Do the Beach Adventure Park guests can purchase tickets, join a membership for ongoing access, and book birthday parties and private events online. The park is looking forward to welcoming families from North Port, Venice, Port Charlotte, and surrounding communities.
The list of featured attractions at Do the Beach Adventure Park is unlike anything offered anywhere else. It offers an immersive environment for active play that gets kids away from their screens. The attractions include:

- The Boardwalk action climbing frame
- The Giant Sand Castle Slide
- The Sand Castle Throne
- Under the Sea Toddler Zone
- Black Jack’s Sunken Pirate Ship Venture Play
- The Big Wave Ninja Challenge
“This is the culmination of our goal to provide people in the area with an entertainment option that is unique and consistent in what it offers,” said Tony Fisher. “We’re very proud of the park. This is different from any other family entertainment venue. Now, everyone can visit us and find out for themselves!”
The park will offer memberships, guest passes, and space for birthday parties and private events in the Sandcastle Suite, Surf Shack, and the Cabana Club on the mezzanine. The park also introduces the Intelliplay RFID wristband system, a first in the industry. The wristbands track active play, allow guests to purchase items, add extra time, and provide geo-fencing for parental peace of mind.
The Grand Opening starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20. Once open, the adventure park hours will be: Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Do the Beach Adventure Park is located at 14265 S Tamiami Trail in North Port.
