HONG KONG & LONDON & NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Options Technology (Options), the leading provider of global capital markets infrastructure, today announced the official opening of its new office in Central, Hong Kong, with the support of Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK). The expansion enhances Options’ ability to serve clients and partners across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, reflecting the firm’s continued investment in the infrastructure underpinning global financial markets.

Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at InvestHK Mr Arnold Lau said, “We are delighted to support Options as it develops its regional headquarters, positioning the company to effectively meet growing client demand across the Asia-Pacific region. Hong Kong has a world-class business environment, unmatched financial and operational support, significant local and regional markets, and an excellent technical infrastructure that supports innovation and business on a global scale, making it an ideal and strategic hub for financial technology firms like Options to thrive and expand.”

Vice President and Managing Director for Hong Kong at Options Ms. Michelle Kendell said, “Hong Kong is a strategic hub for financial services and innovation in Asia. The expansion reflects our long-term commitment to the region and allows us to meet increasing demand from our clients for ultra-low latency infrastructure and localized services. We see Hong Kong as a vital gateway to APAC markets and a strong base for future growth.”

She added, “Hong Kong’s world-class connectivity, access to regional talent, and proximity to major financial exchanges make it a unique and strategic location for a fintech firm. Its regulatory stability and pro-business environment further reinforce our confidence in continuing to invest here. We are eager to expand our Hong Kong team by recruiting top talent in infrastructure engineering, network operations, client services, and business development.”

The new office is located in Central, the heart of Hong Kong’s financial district, allowing the company to be in close proximity to its clients and key market infrastructure providers, including the Hong Kong Exchange colocation facility. Through this expansion, it aims to strengthen its delivery of real-time market data, infrastructure, and cloud services across Asia.

Today’s announcement marks the latest chapter in Options’ global expansion, following recent growth across key financial centers including London, Chicago, Tokyo, and Riyadh as Options continues to scale its global footprint to meet accelerating client demand, and reinforces its position at the heart of the capital markets.
